What does this mean (creepy)?

When someone completely crosses out the eyes in a picture with a black marker or a dark colored pen?

most medical books that do not want the reader to identify the person in picture cross out the eyes. Eyes properly identify us so if they are crossed out, it just means that the picture is meant to illustrate something other then give away the identity of the person in the picture.

It could mean that they feel very self conscious, and not self confident. They feel that people are "looking" at them, so they cover the eyes on any picture or magazine.

They could also have a Nutrient or Vitamin deficiency. It could be a Vitamin B12 deficiency.

The symptoms of this are;

Difficulty in concentration and remembering, stuporous depression, severe agitation, hallucinations, manic or paranoid behavior.

It doesn't have to be all the symptoms at once.

I've seen it done before in the horror movies like The Ring. I'm not sure myself but the eyes are also known as the windows to the soul and they're also, of course, used for watching. Perhaps, as peacefromken suggests, the person has a fear of being watched or believes that they're being surveyed constantly and so crosses the eyes out which could be a passive-aggressive method of way of getting rid of them so they can't be watched.

I don't blame them--it's not a comfortable feeling. Whenever I'm in the backyard to take in the clothes from the clothesline by myself before dark and with my back turned, I can't tell if there's anyone behind me, watching. I might've watched one too many horror movies.

It's either that someone does not like the person in the picture or that someone does not want the person in the picture to see what he's up to.

it means that person doesn't want the person in the picture to be recognized.  eyes give away a person's identity.  they cross out a person's eyes in tabloid shots, specially crime witnesses.

Ok it could mean that there just doodling, they don't like the color of there eyes, or if there practicing black magic it's a way to try and blind the person.
