I've had alot of bunnies that would do that.  Mostly, it means he's content. Just passing the time.  And, because their teeth grow much like our fingernails do, he will grind them casually as a means to keep them trimmed.  For this reason too, he needs to have things to chew on that will wear down his teeth.  Here are a couple of links that you might enjoy.  Lots of information.  Good luck with Mr Bunny
