What dog would you recommend?

Question

Heres what I want:

Medium to Large.

Apartment.

Can walk/jog daily for 2-3 miles.

Gaurd dog.

Doesn't shed too much.

Obedient.

Wont constantly bark.

What dog would you recommend?

i would want a yorkie for sure! AND FEMALE

You could always look for a young(about 2-4 mo) puppy at your local shelter.  I would stay away from the older dogs because it is very common for them to have barking problems and while that is correctable it takes a lot of work which it doesn't sound like you want.

Personally I would go with a Labrador Retriever, Brittany Spaniel, or an English Springer Spaniel.  You would need one (or a different breed if you choose) as a puppy and train them from there.

I personally wouldnt keep a large dog in an apartment.

Hmmm that's quite difficult.

Look, if you want an outsidey dog, an appartment isn't an ideal choice. Apart from the time that you play with them and walk them, they won't get any excersize.

And dog's dont usually like elevators.

Alsation? They need tonnes of excersize.
