  1. They ******* suck... Fox is better just for the fact that Fox was the one that took care of the all star game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. The east coast bias... mainly the Yankees and Red Sox coverage.  Also, they employ Joe Morgan.

  3. Joe Morgan and Jon Miller.  All they do is jerk Manny Ramirez off.

  4. everything other than actual sports that they put on

ex: titletown, brett favre, brett favre, brett favre, brett favre, same things everyday on every one of there talk shows.

  5. Considering "First Take" is on in the background, I really would have to say the "beating of any and all dead horses."

This Bret Favre "baby-mama-drama"-esque coverage is REALLY overboard.

I hate how it's all just the same old sh**, just a different day.

  6. Chris Berman he is such a f*g i hate him. All they do is talk about the Mets Phillies Yankees and Red Sox. They also show the same teams every day on Sunday night baseball and Wednesday night baseball.

  7. They try to create news rather than just report it. Every World Series, Super Bowl, NCAA championship, etc. is "the greatest ever." Every player who leads a team to a championship is "the greatest ever." It's almost like sports never existed before 1979. People think if somebody on ESPN said it, it's true. This whole "greatest ever" garbage every day drives me nuts.............All the nitwit anchors think they've got to be comedians. Listening to Linda Cohn giggle for 30 minutes is excruciating, which is why I don't watch SportsCenter anymore.............The person above who commented about Stuart Scott is 100% correct. He's a circus clown who tries to be cool by shuckin' and jivin' with his "boys." All of whom probably think he's a fool.

  8. They only cover east coast teams. They cover all the sports and they follow east coast teams. I get sooo tired of hearing about the Yankees, the Rod Sox, the Giants, the Eagles. There are so many other teams that they don't cover like the rest of the country. Eastern SPorts Network. I stopped watching the c**p station.

  9. basketball

  10. they favor whites with all their reporters the same with yahoo reporters..

  11. they don't play hockey highlights because they are still bitter about not getting the t.v. contract with the NHL

  12. they overhype offseason media related issues more than actual sports stories..the brett favre saga is still going on, and the ESPN bottomline will let you know what every text message brett favre sends says.. i mean its a little ridiculous

i also dont like how they downplay hockey out of bitterness. Gary Bettman screwed them so now they are s******g the league by not publicizing hockey enough

  13. Sometimes I feel the since they're from Conn. they really favor New England teams

  14. They have the worst east coast bias you'll find. The only teams that exist are the teams that are great, or were known for being good. The stories of yesterday trump the stories of today.

    Hypothetical Baseball coverage:

News: Some pitcher in Kansas City just threw a perfect game

ESPN:Kansas City has a baseball team?... Where IS Kansas City?

    Hypothetical Basketball coverage:

News: Kevin Durant on Oklahoma City just scored 120 points in the first half.

ESPN: Yeah, but is he as good as Kobe?

    Hypothetical Football coverage:

News:The Oakland Raiders just went 16-0, including a 77-3 win over the Patriots.

ESPN:(cricket chirps)So where is Brett Favre these days?"

    Hypothetical Hockey coverage

News: NHL ratings finally go up as a Nationally watched sport.

ESPN: Does anyone really watch hockey anymore? What's hockey?

    Hypothetical Soccer coverage

News: There are lots of Hispanic soccer players.

    ESPN: Ole!

    ...........What?

    ...........Everyone says that in soccer!

...........Oh. Everyone says that in soccer.

  15. nothing espn is awesome!!!!

  16. Stewart Scott.  I can't believe they let him write his own stuff, he is neither witty nor funny.  I also agree with what someone said previously, they beat the h**l out of a dead horse.  Also, they make me watch Red Sox games on most Sunday nights even though I have the MLB extra innings package.  (Fox does the same on the Saturday day game.)  Skip Bayless, this guy just argues for the sake of argument, he never has a valid point, he just goes against the majority opinion because he thinks its the thing to do.

And what the h**l is NFL Live doing on multiple time a day in the middle of summer?
