I was looking at the menu for My Thai Palace and lots of stuff says "with ground peanuts on the side" and things like that . So i was wondering what exactly it is, and what does it taste like? Does it taste like actual peanuts?

I googled it, but i'm still not really sure lol

  1. Just like it says, it is ground peanuts. They could grind it course or fine to a powder. If they grind it enough it will be peanut butter.

You've seen ground coffee I am sure, just picture those granules as peanuts. Ground sugar, cinnamon, pepper, and salt. All ground. I hope that this helps you. Good Luck!

  2. sounds like peanut butter to me

  3. Ground peanuts is the common name for the "peanut" because it grows "underground", as opposed to almonds and walnuts which grows on "trees". By the way, a peanut is not actually a "nut", but rather a peas/bean aka legume.

  4. Grind = ground.

Note that peanuts are also known as groundnuts in Asia and Africa.

  5. It's peanuts that you crush up with a mortar and pestle.

  6. peanuts that you grind up

  7. crushed peanuts.
