  1. It's an MMORPG. (massively multiplayer online role-playing game)

    It is extremely addicting.

    beware.

  2. you make a character on either of two sides then just adventure, quest, or kill monsters, and you can battle the other side! it isn't like a modern shooter or anything, swords, spells, and some blunderbusses or something.

  3. Online role playing adventure game. Look it up!

  4. I think it is a RPG. It is very addicting so watch out.

  5. It's an online game that you can play with people all over the world.  You have to pay a monthly fee for it ($14.99/month).

Once you're on you choose a race (Human, Gnome, Dwarf, Night Elf, Draenei(alien), Blood Elf, Undead, Tauren(cow-person), Orc, or Troll) and a class (Mage, Warrior, Paladin, Shaman, Priest, Druid, Warlock, Rogue, Hunter, forgive me if I missed one.)  This is your "toon" and you can name it and customize it with hair style & color, face, skin color, and other things. depending on your race.  Not all races can play certain classes.

Once you've made this toon, you can pick up quests from NPC (Non-Playable Characters).  They usually will send you to kill things or collect things.  When you turn in the quests, you get XP which you need to level.  You can also pick up professions (Jewelcrafting, Tailoring, Alchemy, Enchanting, Leatherworking, Blacksmithing, or Engineering) to make things to help you along the way.

You'll need to play with other people online in order to level sometimes.  You can go into dungeons and raids (with anywhere from 5 to 25 people) and you can also PVP (Player vs Player) just to kill others.  When you die, you do not have to restart the game.  You will appear at a graveyard as a ghost and then you can run back to where your body was left when you died.

If you are still interested in seeing what it's all about, you can go to www.worldofwarcraft.com or just go to www.youtube.com and look at videos of it.  A lot of people use the graphics to make music videos and silly things out of it.

  6. W.O.W. is this cool graphics game. It's similar to runescape better way better. It's this adventure game. You have to go to the store and buy it. Then you have to pay to play. I once bought a card for 30 bucks and it lasts 60 days. Its a cool game but my computer was very slow so I stopped playing. It can get addictive but try not to get addicted.

It's this online game. So you can talk to your friends depending the server and what side you are with.

  7. It will TAKE YOUR SOUL!

  8. It is a STUPID waste of time that can go from "I'm playing a harmless game" to "This has ruined my life" in no time flat.

I have known people that have, literally, lost husbands, wives, cars, even their house and their job because of a stupid online roll playing game.

The basis of the game is that you are some form of warrior or magic being that goes around finishing 'quests' to gain experience so they can move on to BIGGER quests...

You interact with people from all over the globe and some people actually start to believe that their "Online Friends" are more real then the people around them.

I knew one woman that racked up THOUSANDS of DOLLARS in phone bills talking to her "Online Husband" in Australia while her REAL husband was at work.

She got so obsessed with the game that when her husband tried to put a stop to it, after their car was repossessed due to her not paying the bills, she packed up the 2 kids a WEEK before finals, told the cops that the husband beat her to get a restraining order against him so he couldn't take the kids or, more importantly, the computer away from her, and she moved back in with her parents in NJ.

She stole her children and ruined this man's life because she got obsessed with a silly game.

If you want to hear more about how people have lost their families, finances, and even their very lives over these retarded games, look up “Online Gamers Anonymous”.

I myself am an “Everquest Widow” that ended up losing my fiancé to the ‘better’ world of the MMORPG. He had low self esteem and found that being a super powerful “Mage” online was better then interacting with his family and friends or even keeping his job… I had to kick him out of my condo and start my life again from scratch because he ended up leaving me in major in debt… We were to be married but this stupid game became addicting and so he ruined both of our lives over Everquest.

I have even been interviewed for a news publication (The Times) because of my story…

    STAY AWAY FROM ONLINE GAMES.

SOME people can handle them as a periodic diversion but most people get far too in to the game for their own good…

Some people will even commit suicide if the game is taken away from them… It is MUCH more common then people like to believe…
