What exactly produces the greeneye....?

personaly I have blue eyes, with green in the middle and I have parents with both perfect crystal eyes...LOl, so how come my eyes r not the same, could it that the gene what carried on and somehow it showed singh only on me...LOl.....so can u explain it 2 me...?

  3. Your parents each have two recessive genes for their eye colors. Your mother could be blue/green (but the blue gene was expressed) and your father could have blue/blue, so you could have blue/green with both of the genes being partially expressed.

    Such genes are called "co-recessive"
