  1. I see technology as an emulation of biology.  Research and development in the area of technology is steeped in the study of ____________ from these raw questions, technology has yielded a better understanding of the mechanics of "things".  In hindsight we see the technical drawings of Leonardo Da Vinci and marvel at his detailed vision and forward thinking "contraptions" that are now known as tanks and planes, or even a three dimensional drawing of the human body.  When I think of the super elite intellectual like Stephen Hawkings and the classic arguments proposed by Albert Einstein's scribbled equation on the Theory of Relativity; the thought that a physically impaired man (Hawkings) can refute the genius of Einstein, then move forward the argument of time and space is breath taking.

I think that our understanding of technology deepens our understanding of "A Creator" who through biology is light years ahead of our imagination of what is possible, however, the inquisitive nature of technological breakthrough in nano technology for instance,  allows our sensibilities to peak at the possibilities of a whole new Universe.  The Hubble Telescope is a great example of this very thought and statement.  It has provided beautiful snapshots of our distant galaxy's past and given us pause in real time to consider the future of space and travel.  It is for these reasons I find technology exciting.

  2. Wanking booths for all

  3. Traveling faster somewhere really far from where i live.

  4. storing my memories and being able to re-live them/share them with others.  Biological enhancements ie nightvision, synthetic joints (ooh i need them bad).

  5. Natalia, what excites me? Knowing that we human beings are only at the threshold of technologies, space, medical and other sciences. All that has happened in the last 20 years...Internet, medical, communications...are scarcely a tick of the clock with what life on our pretty blue rock will be in, say, 50 years. Just think of it! 100 years! A century ago we were puttering around with automobiles but most of us were going no-where without a horse or mule. Today, the moon, Mars, speeding through the air, great highways in the US, Canada, Western Europe. Stem cell research in the civilized countries will affect human life and life-expectancy in startling ways. And so on and so on. Science! Ah!!
