What fashion field to go into?

i am currently studying fashion in college..but am not sure what career path i want to go into!..any suggestions from the people currently in the fashion field..your advice and personal experiences?

There are so many. Which direction you go depends on your own interests, your talents, the coursework you take at college, and also on what internships/work experiences you do. It can be very competitive to enter many fashion fields, and having an internship can be the make-or-break for employers. I strongly recommend you look into it.

As for careers, you could look into fashion design, if you're studying that specifically; or you could go into a buyer or management training program, like the ones offered by Macy's or Bloomingdales (check their websites for details.) You could go into fashion merchandising, become a product manager, own or manage a boutique or store, go into fashion journalism, become a stylist - there are a lot of options.
