  4. we know of not one...not two...but billions of them...most have names assigned..andromeda being an example...but usually they are assigned numbers with alphabetical prefixes...try searching on google for "Hubble Deep Field"....

    your question is like saying how many stars are up there. Actually there are unpredictable countable stars there are stars in our galaxy and other galaxies.

  6. Oh, gosh, there are too many to count.  We have seen so many that the vast majority of them don't have any names  yet.

    Here's a great picture of M81, which is a galaxy we have known about for a long time.  If you zoom in, you can find probably a hundred other galaxies in the background.  Download from one of the options and have fun exploring.

  8. So far Nasa has surveyed over 100,000 Galaxies!! its crazy i know.

    It's estimated that there are as many as 200 BILLION galaxies in the observable universe.
