What glue should i use ?

Question

im making my boyfriend a memory box for our anniversary and i got a box and chip board letters and other sticker letters and pictures ...but i dont know what glue to use to put the chip board letters on with . they arent self adhesive and i want them to stay on good because hes going to college at the end of the summer so i dont want anything to fall off ...i have double sided tape hot glue elmers and all that i just dont know which one to use ...please help thankks =]

It will work fine with the hot glue gun. You just have to be careful with the stringing! Photos need to be stuck on with NON ACID adhesive. Preferably a scrapbooking glue of some sort. Anything else will eventually fade and destroy the pictures and other things you want to put in there.

Don't use the typical school white glue or a glue stick. Use the regular glue gun and it shouldn't come off unless you pull it really hard.

e6000 is my favorite glue... anything can happen in college... you want to make sure that everything that might come loose is bolted down... LOL

If I were you, I'd use gorilla glue. Use it SPARINGLY!!! That stuff is crazy. It works on anything. We use it to fix things around the house. It's the best stuff I've ever used. Hot glue might pop off over time. I haven't used elmers since elementary school! LOL....... double stick tape won't be enough for the heavy letters.
