Storyline - Kane took him out after Rey's brief feud with Santino. Now Kane keeps asking if he is dead or alive.

Reality - Rey made his debut on RAW with little segments with Santino, but his injuries were still nagging at him so he went back home to rest up. In order to explain this absence, they have Kane acting like he put him out of commission. (Finally a decent storyline for Kane's character!)

The WWE Booking Team has not written any decent storylines for him, since he was drafted to Raw from Smackdown. The storyline with Kane having one of Rey's Masks is the first decent storyline Rey has gotten on Raw and will result in several matches on Pay Per Views and Episodes of Raw. I think this feud will run through the end of the year.
