What happened to nadal?

I noticed from those players who beat nadal at hard courts this year they have the same game plan against him. What should nadal do to counter their game plan? What facets of his hard court play should he improve?

  1. why are you sooo obsessed with Nadal ?! lol Rafa rocks #1 baby #1 !

  2. I read on teletext he had blisters.. :(  I didnt see the match tho so i havnt a clue bout the way he played. :( So disapointed. :(

But now its.. Vamos Murray i suppose.

  3. Make the balls flatter. Better serve (faster, no spinning fuss much). And rest. HE needs lots of it after playing back-to-back tourns. And I think he shouldn't try to make the ball bounce back slower because his opponents could easily get back to it and hit it with a winner. And try not to make his opponents dictate the points or make him run around the court. I know he can get those balls but, really, it's very risky!

I think Murray will win. Djokovic is lucky that he's playing well and Rafa's not playing well that match. Tennis is perspiration (pysical and mental) + luck  :)

  4. He should try to hit the ball more flat. Hitting winners and coming forward should do him good.

I can't believe that Nadal got crushed like that. Now Djokovic is going to win Cincinnati.

  5. dont worry about that loss to djoko at cincinnati! rafa is really tired and im glad he lost because he needs that rest before the olympics and US open! it will be a blessing in disguise! djoko played his absolute best on the fastest masters series court and against a tired rafa and still rafa played good enough in the 2nd set! his tiredness was visible against tommy haas and i think he beat lapentti on sheer willpower because he wanted that number 1 ranking so bad! i think he was too emotionally drained after the lapentti match! nadal has improved alot on hard courts! nadal will win the olympics and the US open im sure of it! he needs to be more agressive and serve faster and stay on the baseline and go for flat shots to finsih points off quicker and also go to the net because he is pretty good at the net!

  6. flatten ball, hit better serves instead of spinning, if they slow down the courts like in Wimbledon he'll have a better chance.

  7. Nadal can't do anything because....

A-He's ground strokes are not flat..meaning..a lot of top spin..so players have more time to said up their shots and hit flat...

So this would be a great ask for Nadal....meaning change his game completely!

Well one facet he should definitely improve on ( and I will say this again)

    is his butt-scratching on court.For Jesus Christ's sake!Stop it!

    I

  8. i always said he needs to hit the ball flatter... use less spin on the hardcourts...

and try and be more offensive...

he still gets too dicated to on hardcourt.. chasing too many balls

he would do better coming forward more..
