What happened to the avatars?

First my avatar disappears from my e-mail, now it's gone from my home page! How can I atleast bring it back to my home page?

I wondered the same thing.  I started searching around and noticed numerous changes on the home page.  It appears Yahoo is doing more updates.  I doubt it will be back in the same fashion.  I do think, however, that we may be able to bring it back through a widget of some kind, or the "add content" module.  I found content called My Avatar, but it isn't functioning at the moment so I don't know if that's the solution or not.  Time will tell, I guess.  Thanks for asking about it though.  I thought it was just my page at first.

It has to do with an improvement of the My Yahoo page, I don't think it will be brought back. Besides it was a tiny tiny pic of it, barely visible!

Yahoo upgraded the classic mail, and the avatar went bye bye.  Click here " What's New" to see changes. Also click this link for more info and scroll to the bottom last sentence and click    "here" after you read above first. You will see what they added and removed and changed.   http://new.mail.yahoo.com/classic   The avatar will not be returning to the mail page.
