It's E.  The G1 checkpoint is located very near the end of the G1 phase, so the rest cannot be correct.  A would occur before the G1 phase, B would occur after S (there's a checkpoint for that too), and C doesn't really occur, because if there aren't enough resources the cycle stops and the cell enters G0.
