What happens when film gets hot?

i accidentally left my four rolls of new 120 film in the car for 10 hours and it was pretty hot that day (it wasn't in the sun).

so did i do any real damage or is it fine or something?

you have to develope it. could be ok could be destroyed.  It depends HOW hot..  If the actual film didn't melt you should be ok. Don't leave it go too long.

That level of heat should not have damaged the film.
