What head cleaner do i need ?

Question

if i couldn't find a panasonic head cleaning tape for my panasonic mini dv camcorder , is it good to clean with whatever tape,like jvc or sth...?

what are the consequences ? thnx

You can use pretty much any mini dv head cleaning tape, but I would go with a name brand like jvc or sony.  If you run them in your deck very often, they will begin to wear down the head, but an occasional run is okay as long as your camera needs it.
