  1. I pop 2 aleves and that does me good for about 6 hours.  Tylenol or the other stuff like Midol, neva worked.

  2. if you're getting cramps, i suggest drinking lots of water.. it has really helped me.

  3. Drink a lot of water, and rest, take a nice hot bubble/non bubble bath, or listen to some music while lying down on a cozy bead! another way is to eat some comfort food, such as chocolate, or raw cookie dough! That helps me when I'm cramping up! >w<

  4. Extra Strength Midol is my favorite pain reliever.

Using a heating pad is also really helpful. Thermacare makes heated patches that are great for when you need to be at work/school/wherever, because they're really thin and you can hide them under your clothes.

  5. bananas are great for cramps

  6. Drink plenty of water, take in extra dairy (milk, yogurt, etc), lay off the caffeine & salt, and take OTC pain relievers such as Tylenol, Motrin, Aleve, Midol or Pamprin.

  7. seriously take at least 3-4 Advil every 8 hours that is the only thing that helps me not Midol or any of that stuff. My OB told me about it.

  8. well...drinking a lot of water is a good thing, but for me the best is to try to get my back and my stomach as warm as possible, and also, if I have to go out, I usually take some calcium, because during the period we lose a lot of calcium. Try it once and see how you feel. But you should try to drink more milk in your "free days" and this should ease your pain for the next periods.

  9. tylenol does wonders 4 me :) and i try 2 sleep alot more during that time, that works too
