Colombia was originally inhabited by Ameri-Indians, but in 1500 it was colonized by Spain, and so began the period of colonialism.

Fast forward 500 years, Colombia has the third largest population in latin america, produces gold, emeralds, flowers, coffee, oil among other things. The typical dance is called Cumbia. The main religion is roman cathlicism and the main language is spanish. It is about 58% Mestizo (european and indian blood mix), and 20% White and 4% black.
