What is Electromechanical?

Question

I go to a technical High School. I will probably choose Electromechanical as my first choose. I've no clue what it is. If you take Electromechanical can you fix pretty much every electronics from microwave or iron or from TV to game systems. Could you do that. What can you fix when i take this class.

This is a very broad area. An air conditioning system is electromechanical. So is a computer hard drive. Being trained to fix one does not mean you can fix the other... but it will give you an appreciation for why certain systems are so complex, and why special training is needed.
