I made some research but couldn't find a satisfactory information if they are connected to Mongols or Turks.

  1. Hungary

  2. The 'Huns' and Magyars were Eurasians who migrated from Central Europe north of the Danube River in aprox. the 3rd. C. CE [ie: 'AD'].

At the time of the Roman Empire their area was referred to as Scythia and Sarmatia. Many of both Scythians and Sarmatians were 'drafted' by the Roman military to serve in far off countries that were included in the Empire. They, in turn were sometimes joined by the Rus...another large Eurasian tribe.

They became 'Hungarian' much later in history.

These tribes, sometimes included loosely with 'Celts,'

[Greek Keltoi], were all pastoral nomadic tribes which roamed throughout both northern and southern Europe and into the western parts of Asia.

It has been discovered that the main trade route that was called the 'Silk Road' for a time, [Marco Polo and

his uncles 'found' and followed it to 'Cathay' [China],

was originally, in prehistoric times,  a migration route used by early man to reach the Pacific coastline.

According to Roman historians the Huns description fits both Mongol and Turkic resemblances. It is probably safe to hypothesize that some Huns amalgamated with others who became the Mongols of the well-known Genghis Khan, ['Khan'='Emperor'] as well as Tamerlane, who conquered most of eastern and some of western Europe beginning in the 12th C. CE.

  3. atilla the hun was i think barbarian from germany or scandanavia. probly wrong there i think.

  4. probably a group of lossley connected groups sharing dialects and culture; nomadic and horse-riding warriors, came from the far east of europe: original Scythia and Dacia: modern shores of Black sea and romania and the steppes east of that. While essentially caucasian in origin genetically, there is an admixture of Iranian and Mongolian blood. Hunnish tribes devastated eastern europe for several centuries. Hungary / Ongarn / Magyari is only one of their eventual settling areas.
