What is Implantation?

I was reading a question from a girl about her period and she mentioned Implantation, someone said that that was kinda brown but not your period. I think i get that. Is that bad? What is it?

It means that your pregnant. the fetus is planting it's self.

Implantation is when a fertilized egg implants itself in the lining of the uterus, which is when pregnancy occurs.  Sometimes this causes light bleeding or spotting for the woman.

Not all spotting or light bleeding (no matter what color it is) has to do with implantation. Spotting before, after or in between periods is perfectly normal.
