  1. The Parvis is the square in front of Notre Dame Cathedral.  It gets it name from the Parvis which is a bronze marker in the center of the square.  It is the starting point for all distance measurement in all of France.

  2. its "parvis de Notre Dame" it's the place in front of the cathedral (sorry for my english i'm french)

  3. The place in front of the cathedral.

Where you, tourists, bore me when you cross the street. I'm arriving fast on a motorbike.

  4. You probably mean PARVIS and not "parvin." The parvis is the open square in front of the church (be it Notre Dame de Paris or another).
