  1. just goto usps.com/customerconnect

and signup for an account. they will send you free supplies. I dont know if they have a box big enough for a mini fridge, but you can certainly save money by using "Parcel Post" which is a 6 to 10 day delivery time. But remember to use delivery confirmation. The package will get to the destination quicker. Priority mail. You will get your package there in 2 to 3 days for domestic only. International takes 1 to 2 weeks usually. But its cheaper then the competitor.

  2. Media mail is for books, publications, etc., not for mini-fridges.

You could use Express Mail, which is guaranteed to get to its destination on the next day (holidays included.)  They have some supplies available, but it is extremely expensive.

Priority Mail is mail which is expedited to the addressee; the attempt is to get it to its destination in two days (no guarantees.)  You can send your reefer that way, but it will still be somewhat expensive.  You can get free labels, envelopes, and boxes, for use with Priority Mail, but the size is extremely limited; they won't have one for a mini-fridge

First Class Postage is the next step down.  It's still shipped airmail, but it could get there in two days or several.  No supplies are available except for sale.

Bulk Mail is the USPS bottom level.  It most likely will take several days to reach its destination, but it is the cheapest.

The USPS will pick up priority and express mail if you call a special number, sometimes the carrier will take it if you sweet-talk them.

I don't know what the current rate structure is compared to UPS, but it used to be cheaper to use UPS for larger packages and the USPS for smaller ones (particularly those under 2 pounds.)

  3. the united states postal service is who provides priority mail. you can go to usps.com and ask for pickup and they will come and pick it up for free you just have to buy the postage online. they will not have a box big enough for a mini fridge but usually at the post office they do have free flat rate boxes for smaller items. just find a box big enough to ship it in, buy and print your postage and they will pick it up.
