Its when people post a link promising whatever it is their linking, and then once you click it it takes you to Rick Astley singing "never gonna give you up" its all over the internet, classic prank. Get used to it.

It's just a gag.... you think you're going to watch something cool and entertaining then all of a sudden is fcking Rick Astley! Which is way cooler than what you were looking at in the first place!

It's an internet prank.

Someone sends you a link, you begin to watch a video that seems to be legit, but what you really get in the end if a video of Rick Astley singing his little heart out.

It's kind of an 'inside joke' with no meaning behind it =) It's great to annoy people though.
