What is Soybutter????

I read on one answer that for a child that cannot have peanuts,do to a severe allergy, and his brother likes pb. So the mother got " soybutter". I have a child who LOVED peanut butter, but he developed a very high allergy to peanuts now.

My son likes soy better than the real thing.  He says its sweeter and creamier.

It is just like peanut butter, but made from soy nuts instead of peanuts.  It is safe for people who suffer from peanut allergies.  I have bought it for my toddler and she loves it.  I don't think it as yummy as peanut butter but it isn't bad with some jelly.   =0)
