  1. Dont go to Toronto come to Montreals

    Go! Habs Go!

    Leafs S$#k

  2. i moved to toronto when i was 18, i am now almost 20.  I ABSOLUTLY love it.  There is a real buzz about this city, always something going on, always something to do and somwhere to go, always interesting people, its fun to people watch.  Although, its never quite, even late at night, and its always busy, and its frusturating when rushing to work or whereever.

But i love it out here

  3. Well, if you don't mind the selfish, self-centred idiots who feel that you should be the one who should make way for them, come on over. Our mayor is also a moron for spending $300 mil ($100 mil of taxpayer's money) on demolishing something that's useful to make way for something that's totally unnecessary. This is also the same guy who puts $30Gs aside in the city's budget to provide booze to the homeless. So if you don't mind living with extreme stupidity every day, come to Toronto.

  4. lots to do but it's expensive, congested, fast-paced, some areas are run-down, drug and crime infested...pretty much the same as any over-populated city.  u couldn't pay me to live there

  5. I'm from San Francisco and I have relatives who live in Toronto and I visit several times a year. Overall, I think it's a nice city. There's a lot to do, lot's of great restaurants and the water front is nice. There's some rough old looking areas, but there's areas like that in any major city. If I lived in Toronto, I would want to live downtown because I find the suburbs to be very generic and all the new homes look exactly the same, especially in Missisagua (where my brother lives). The freeway system in the city is really strange, they're sort of all over the place and it can get really congested. There’s a lot of homeless people in the actual downtown business area, which I was shocked to see the first time I visited, but there’s no ghetto area so I guess they have no where else to go. It’s really expensive to live near downtown but it gets cheaper in the suburbs and there’s some surrounding cities that are more affordable. It’s got it’s pros and cons like any city, but honestly, you couldn't pay me to live there, it's just not the type of city I would want to live in, but that’s just me. I would suggest taking a visit before you make any final plans.

    Good luck.
