What is a Flight Designer?

Please help me choose a career. I want to design the inside of an airline (Seating, galleys..) for a living. So is this the occupation I am looking for? Please give me information on this job and their annual salary. Also if you suggest similar airline jobs then that too, but i really want to be a flight designer.

The designs for the interior of aircraft are generally outsourced to interior design companies and luxury car makers. I have never heard of an individual designer designing the interior of an aircraft, but I'm sure it can happen. Your best bet would be to try to join a well known design company and hope that they get a contract to design the interior of an aircraft (usually a contract issued by an airline, but sometimes by the manufacturer) and that you can get on the team.

Other airline jobs that may have tie-ins with design might include marketing (designing logos, websites, etc), or designing the uniforms worn by the flight attendants.
