  1. That on the 6th day, God created fish and they were good!

  2. you can eat fish, but of course that would be hurting them

  3. Haha yes, it's pescetarian, not pecetarian.

I am striving to become a pescetarian, which is someone who eats only fish for "meat." They are usually considered vegetarians, but they do eat fish.

It's that simple! Hope this helped. :)

  4. I am a pescetarian, but i don't have any beliefs because of it. After seeing numerous videos of the abuse that takes place in slaughter houses I decided not to eat meat anymore. It made sense because I rarely ate meat as it was, so cutting it out altogether wasn't a problem. I continue to eat fish because seafood has many benefits for the human body. It give protein, vitamin, and has plenty of omega-3 fatty acids [these are good for the heart]. Hope that helps.

  5. I have no idea why they eat fish.  Maybe they think they arent as cute?  Beats me.  Despite that, a person that eats fish is not any type of vegetarian.

  6. Form your own beliefs on this matter.

You don't need a label in order to tell you what you can or cannot eat, it's just what you feel comfortable with.

Personally, I eat a vegetarian diet, with dairy products, eggs and crab meat. Weird huh? I just can't feel sorry for a crab and I feel that the way that they are fished doesn't harm too much of the ocean, where as other fishing is really harmful to the environment. I also try to avoid leather products.

It's all about what you want, don't worry about the label that people give you. Worry about what you feel OK with and about doing your part to help the enviroment!

  7. They believe that meat  from land animals in unhealthy.  Ethics does not enter into the equation.

  8. The Definition I found

"A pescetarian diet excludes land animals and birds, but includes fish, mollusks, and crustaceans in addition to fruits, vegetables, plants, legumes, nuts, and grains.  Eggs and dairy may or may not be present in the pescetarian's diet."

From looking through the Q&A's I'd say their etincs are centered around the environment and health.
