Question:

What is a T-Cushion?

We recently bought a new house and I am wanting to re-do the decor. However, I do feel it is more important to get the floor and painting done before I worry about a new furniture set, so in the meantime I was wanting to just put some slipcovers on our couches (they are a leather-like material that have started to crack and are not in good condition). They are really high backed and they have recliners on each end. However, I don't mind that we wont be able to use the recliners. What I am concerned about is the slipcover being lose. I was looking for a slipcover online and have found several mentioning 't-cushion'. What does this mean? Any suggestions on the type or style of slipcover I should be looking for?

  1. A t-cushion is a "t" shaped cushion designed to fit around the arm of the chair or couch.

  2. T-cushions are just that, they form a "T" vs an "L" shape or square or rectangular shape.

See the link below for pictures of "T" shaped cushions.
