What is a best first bird?

A hookbill and larger than a budgie but not a cockatiel. Price range not to be more than 350.00 for bird only and I know I'll spend more than than on cage and other supplies.

  2. talk to some breeders in your area first but i would have to say a small conure. perhaps a green cheeked or jenday, both sweet birds and not to loud. helps if you have some time to get used to the greeting the morning jungle calls

  4. hi i would recommend a single lovebird they are great i have 6 of them there always in a good mood  and the can be tought to do tricks talking and whistling some songs they are a good bird to start off with   and again get a single so it will bond with you like a mate and then it is easy to train
