What is a closed polygon graph?

for a maths project I have to produce a column graph and closed polygon. i get the column graph part, but wat is a closed polygon?!?!?!?!?

  1. Yeah, it's a stupid addition in my opinion. A "closed" polygon is a polygon! In other words, a figure where all the lines eventually meet.

    Like a rectangle. It's a four sided type of square but it's "closed" as opposed to, say, the top being "open" or missing.

    A square is a closed polygon.

    A triangle is a closed polygon.

    But you see why this is dumb? By definition a polygon cannot be a polygon if one side is "missing" or "open."

    Why do they want to make things harder then they are? (ha)

    Yeah! He or she probably wouldn't like me! (ha).

    But I did think of a good example of a closed polygon graph. If you plot, for example, the points (0,0), (2,0), (2,2), and (0,2), you would have a square that would qualify as a closed polygon graph.
