gateway said they had to do a depot repair on my laptop what does that mean ?

  1. It means it was not repaired at the factory, but at an authorized Gateway repair center.  That could have been a repair shop.


  2. That you have to send it in.  Did you contact them for support?  Don't send it unless you initiated the support!
