What is a good calender freeware?

I'm looking for a freeware calender that allows me to enter my daily schedules and has the option to have things automatically appear on the calender annually (birthdays, holidays, etc.) Nothing fancy.

I really like Google Calendar.  It's located at http://calendar.google.com.  It's very simple, and online-based, so you can access your calendar from any computer.  All you need to go is log in with your Google account or create a free Google account.

Or, if your computer has Microsoft Outlook on it and you are familiar with that software, it has a built-in calendar feature.
