What is a good subwoofer?

are kicker solos L5s better than the kicker comps. how good are the comps.

and if they are better then are they better than the L7s

Get the best sub you can afford. Thats the right answer.  make sure that the subs and the amp are purchased or at least picked out at the same time.  Without a solid plan for this, you could wind up with the wrong resistance subs.

My personal favorite was the kicker solobarics

but most people like kicker comps cuz low priced and sounds good.

Kicker comp is ok to get lot of sound for Low $$'s

L5 @ 500 rms is ok if you want lots of power

L7 @ 750-1000 is ok if you are getting sounds so other people will look at you.
