What is a good teen car?

i am only 13 . I know i am not getting a car for another 5 years but i am the kind of person that likes to know what i want. Like i like to look very early and do as much research as possible. I would like to know what car and why you would recomend it. You dont need to include the year of the car. I will look at that when i am older. thanks everyone.

Realistic: Vauxhall Corsa/Honda Civic/VW Polo/Nissan Micra

Med. Budget: Peugeot 307, Ford Focus, Tigra, BMW 3 series.

Top Range: Merc SLK, Lexus, Land Rover

Pipedream: Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maybach, Bentley, Bugatti Veyron

For me I like the Lexus IS300, year 2004, and want that as my first car

For you, hmmmm, depends on price range, and what you want.

Infiniti G35 sedan, coupe (coupe looks awesome)

Porsche Boxster (You can get those for around 13,000 dollars, well the older models)

well these cars will range from about 10 thousand and up, good luck finding a car! Start saving if your parents won't pay a cent like mine,lol. Demand an allowance, a high one, and charge your parents for chores and other stuff like that.

my parents recently bought me a 1999 jeep wrangler and i couldn't be happier

my dad did some renovations

it's really sturdy and the gas usage is great!

and the best part is that i can take the roof off in the summer

Haha Roberts, you poor thing, you got the Arkansas-built Mercedes and you got it USED! Bummer. They discontinued that problematic, cheap Mercedes in 2005.

To the OP: In five years, there will be no new cars produced that get under about 30 mpg. The legislation takes place starting in 2012, according to all the recent updates on the matter. So your options will be vastly different and most of the SUVs we know today are going to be discontinued. Mercedes, GM, Chevy, Ford, Volvo, Toyota, and a slew of other companies have already quietly suggested that some of their more boisterous models will not be revived once their life-cycles end.

So bear is mind that nothing will be predictable anymore. I think we can count on sedans to remain fundamentally the same but expect more of these horrid "crossovers" like the Ford Edge/Lincoln MKX. Sports cars may fare poorly in the shift to more fuel efficient engines as they struggle to remain powerhouses.

Try to stay at least vaguely aware of what you're interested in when it comes to autos. By the time you're 16, you'll have a better picture of what you are going to have to choose from when the time comes for your first car.

well for my first car i got a brand new 2002 trailblazer ltz.  it was perfect for me it had 4wd in the snow, it was big so i felt safe but not too big where i felt like i was driving a bus.  however its being discontinued and will not be around in 5yrs so you could try a used one

It's been said large, road-tested land yachts are good for teens. Bucik Lesabre, Mercury Grand Marquis. These are two safe, reliable, practical kid cars.

It depends on your parents budget. My parents bought me a new mercedes hatchback last year and it turned out to be perfect for me. Its small enough to control and it still has enough room for all my friends.

It depends on if you want a small car and a large car. Something like a mercedes or something or like a jeep..?? It depends on what you like and whii you like it...its NOT our opionion its yourS..!!
