  1. A goodwill ambassador is a nonthreatening diplomat that is sent to make people feel better and remind them of why they like your country or organization. Like when Angelina Jolie served as a goodwill ambassador for the U.N. No one felt threatened by her and they all wanted to talk to her. When you pick a good will ambassador you want to pick people that are so atractive and charismatic, that the people you send then to meet flock to them and feel better just for having met them. Their missions can be widely varied. They can be generally gathering information. diseminating information, passing out relief supplies, or just increasing morale. Sometimes they travel just to promote a positive image of their country. You want to serve as one Volunteer at the USO. Or google it. to see who's hiring.
