What is a macho man?

A lot of woman have told me that I am a macho. I mean, I got a master degree but I have never figured out the definition of that word. Does it mean I am over masculine? Mean? Insensitive or non romantic? I honestly consider myself a quiet guy who like sports and music. I rarely go out, don't drink or do drugs. My fun is through sports, sports and my projects. I am not the type of guy trying to bed every single females that walk around me or play the friendly and likeable guy at all cost. I live my life as simply and as respectfully as possible without disrespecting females in particular. If that is being macho, I welcome that vehemently!

firstly , i`m a guy  here in the heart of surrey in the uk.

MACHO  TO ME IS AN OLD OBSOLETE 1980`S EXPRESSION , meaning some sort of muscular body building type who pumps iron on the beach to attract girls, where in fact all he wanted to do was keep fit , go shrimping  and have a swim.

just be yourself, one day things will settle down , you`ll find the right girl
