  1. Fraginal....That's quite specific. What about all the other stocktaking missions that are carried out by International Organizations?

    A "stocktaking mission" is a general term used by IO's / NGO's for sending a contingent of people to check on the progress of a program. Think of it like a stock-take in a business (ie: assessing the current status / health of the business).


  2. The objectives of these missions were to:

    Identify concrete technical targets for the Country Action Plan of the participating Arab Countries which were presented at the GfD Steering Group Meeting at Ministerial Level in May 2006

    Prepare a brief stocktaking of the participating Arab country’s current state of reform in the four policy areas mentioned above

    Envisage pilot projects for testing the implementation of the action targets.
