What is a $recycle.bin

Question

I have on my disk the file $recycle.bin

When I try to delet it I receive a warning saying that it is a system file.

Can I delete it?

What is it?

the recycle bin is where you put things you want to delete, I am not sure if you are joking?

Anything you delete on your pc goes into the recycle bin. If you later decided you needed what you previously deleted you can retrieve it from your recycle bin. Do not delete the bin itself!

Recycle.bin is that when you deleting things it gose in Recycle.bin you might change the name. And you can't delete it.

It is a temporary file that your computer creates automatically, which normally shows the original file is in use... you can't close or delete it until you have stopped using recycle bin... it is a system file meaning it is in-built on your operating system when you bought it and deleting these type of files is dangerous because it could completely s***w up your computer and make it unusable
