What is a sleepaway camp?

Sounds...creepy. But what is it really?

a sleepaway camp is when you o sumwhere for a preset amount of days (usually 3 days or a week) and stay tere over night, yo stay in  cabin with other ppl you dont know( unless u bring a friend) they have an orginized schedual where you go swimming, play games eat mail call and sometimes they have special things like parties or movies. the one i went to had a concert. also each cabin has 1 or 2 counsellors, most have it so counsellor sleep in their own cabin, and sumtimes allow co-ed cabins(boys and girls) but the 1 i went to was christian sowe ad mass every morning(not really tat bad only half an hour and the first 15 mins are christian rock song(they had their own band)) and no co-ed cabins and the counsellors slept in an attatchted cabin. but overall they are very fun, u should go.
