  1. Here are some good examples to help you learn more like if you want a long or short board. I suggest short. There are many different types and designs to choose from.

  2. first of all you don't need the best, your probable some spoilled kid that doesn't work for anything. get a cheap board for a first. you may not even like it. the most expensive boards are vintage boards and can reach $2-3000. a great performace board will be about 500- 700.

dude you will be the biggest poser if you get a board like that. every one will laugh at you.

  3. I have a question...Are you new at surfing?

If you are, I would buy a used one first, so you can practice...wants your done, sell it again and then buy yourself a new one!!!

  4. if you have never surfed before dont go spend it on one of the best shortboards cause you wont be able to ride it.

spend 100 on a used longboard and then after you learned how to surf buy your 600 short board.  your spoiled

  5. More than 400

  6. i would say about $554.81 because i have one i bought for me  to ride because i am so good at surfing.

  7. You should be asking that question in a surf shop, not on-line. Do you already surf? How old are you? Where do you surf? These are all questions that are important in answering what you are asking. I have been surfing since '66, and I have owned dozens of boards (new boards, custom made boards, used boards) and I have bought boards for my son and son-in-law.

Go to a good local surf shop, where the professionals there will help you find a board that fits your body size, skill level and local breaks.

If you haven't surfed yet, lessons are the best way to go, unless you have lots of pals who surf who can teach you. Once you learn, and have mastered the basics, you have plenty of time to think about buying a board.

My last four boards (three 'off the shelf' and one custom made) all cost around $700.00 ( a Little more, or a little less). Go to a surf shop, and invest your money wisely. And don't listen to too much of what people tell you on line, the industry professionals work in surf shops.
