What is a tangled heirarchy?

It's a term in quantum physics. It MAY be related to coherent superposition?

a tangled hierarchy is a hierarchical system in which a not so common loop apears. Meaning that there is no specific highest or lowest level in the system.

"The levels are organized such that moving through them eventually returns one to one's starting point, i.e., the original level"
