A Oujia board is a "game" that is supposed to let you communicate with spirits, or ghosts, if you believe in them.  I suggest you read up on communicating with spirits before proceeding.

DO NOT USE A OUIJA BOARD!!!!!

If you believe in evil, etc. do not use.  My friend did, and had to have her house blessed several times along with smudging.

An Ouija board is a game-board with letters/numbers/characters that you use in conjunction with a movable triangle with a piece of glass to select the numbers. I think the more important question that you want to ask is "does it work." My answer, "do you believe in an afterlife? Angels and demons?" If you do, I would not experiment. I believe in an afterlife, and have seen demons exorcised from people for using Ouija boards, doing séances, witchcraft, racism, hatred ect. Demonic possession isn't a joke regardless of what anyone tells you! I would advise if you know someone who wants you to do it with them to kindly tell them "no thanks."

I believe the spelling is Ouija Board.  It is a board about the size of a Monopoly game board that you lay on the laps of two people sitting, facing each other.  The "players" place their finger tips on this tear shaped object, which is placed on the baord.

The tear shaped object has a glass window in the middle with a metal pointer in the center of the window that points straight down at the baord.  The board has some standard words printed on it like "yes""non"'love"'hate" and the letters of the alphabet and the 10 numerical digits.

One of the  players asks a question of the spirits.  The players close their eyes and concentrate.  The object will move and point over the answer.

For instance, one player asks "will I pass Geometry" and the object slowly moves and stops over top of "no."  Or "who will I marry" and the pointer will move to and stop over the letters "T-o-m-m-y."

It is a lot of fun and it demonstrates the ability of your thoughts to control your movements.  It's total bunk.
