What is an entrepreneur?

Somebody with an idea and energy (motivation and money) to bring that idea to the market.  The idea could be anything from a new I Pod to a better way to grow tomatoes.

One definition of an entrepreneur that I like is "someone who relentlessly pursues opportunity without regard to the resources currently under his or her control." I think this definition neatly encapsulates the kind of challenges entrepreneurs typically face and how they overcome obstacles in their path.
