  1. Well I assume it is outwardly expressing whatever right you think needs asserting. Rights, as the declaration of independence put it, are inherent and God given. If this is so, and or one believe it to be so, then one can assert these rights.

    Say you live in a country where freedom is speech is not allowed. You can assert these rights through civil disobedience by saying whatever it is you believe and that you have the right to say such things even if the "government" does not agree with you.
