  1. The glands in their bum I guess !!!

  2. Anal Glands are a small scent gland just inside the r****m that usually express a liquid with a bowel movement.  Some dogs have issues with them getting plugged and need to have them expressed physically at the vet or groomer.  They are not used for anything other than a scent gland and can cause major issues if they rupture or abcess.

  3. the anal glands are the glands on each side of the a**s which secrets fluid during a bowel movement....it stinks kinda like fish and some dogs actually have problems releasing theirs so the vet has to do it for you. IF the dog is dragging their butt on the rug then probably the need to be checked due to their glands getting infected

  4. Anal glands are glands on either side of their butt.  Here is a photo that will give you a better idea.

  5. If you look at your dog's backside you'll notice these two, say, circles on either side of the tail. They contain this smelly liquid that let other dogs know a bit about them (gender and things like that). Normally they empty every time the dog has a bowel movement, but sometimes something prevents this and they need to be emptied by hand.

Here, I drew arrows... please enjoy this fine piece of beagle butt.
