What is credit rent?

(apparently its credited into your account but what is it and do people know its been put in before they receive their bank statement?)

Hi-

This is actually a loophole in the way credit scoring agencies work.

Anyone can add an "authorized user" to their credit card. If I have a good credit score, and you don't, you can offer to pay me to add you to my credit card.  As the credit card is used and paid, your credit score is enhanced.

This is the short version of "credit rent".
