its a big word for contract

I work in the telecommunitcations field and when using that term with my company it means someone agreed to a "perk" from us in exchnage for an agreement to be with us for another year or whatever amout of time is negotiated

Such as them receiving a free phone or month of free service in exchange they stay with our company an additional year
