  1. its when you see some thing but your convinced you have already seen it, like an incident occurs and you swear you've already seen it.

  2. Hang on, haven't I just answered this,

or am  I just about to  ....or is that Pre- ja vous?

  3. As others have said, it is the feeling you get when you are in a strange place for the first time, but you feel you have been there before.

Same sort of feeling you get when you hum a tune, then it comes on the radio.  Or you start thinking about a person and the phone rings and it is them.  Also happens if you are outside somewhere and think about a person, turn a corner and they are there.

The time it really spooked me, was one day I started thinking about my aunt in London (I stay in Scotland)  and had not seen her, or heard from her or her family in years.  I switched on the TV and Countdown was just starting.  They were introducing a new contestant, and it was my aunt.

  4. It when a mommy and a daddy decide to have kids so they......u know

  5. Mmm interesting Q, a star for you. Any mother who has ever given birth is aware that from the minute her child is born, he/she gives evident displays of REM, (if I need to explain this then my theory is lost pmsl).

Very recent studies have shown that sleep deprivation  may be ultimately detrimental but depriving an individual of "dream" time can be catastrophic. There is a clear distinction between the two. Sleep = rest. Dreaming = rejuvenation and equilibrium.

My point is, why would a new born who has no experience of life, who has no concept other than survival have the need to dream of the "future"?

My conclusion? Deja Vu, The child in the womb has taken on board all the "life" experiences, all the hopes and wishes of the parent, and absorbed them into themselves.

What were the original hopes to have been transferred, hence Deja vu.

You are not seeing into the future, nor is your mind playing tricks, there is a perfectly logical explanation to it all.

You have passed your genes into the pool, we all sink or swim ,Deja vu, is being wise or ignorant after the event.

  6. It means you think you've been in the present situation before. It's probably a trick of the brain, but some people experience going to a new place and they know exactly which streets to go down etc.

    The French means 'already seen.'

  7. Dare I? Should I? Oh why not!

A déjà vu is usually a glitch in the Matrix. It happens when they change something.

    oooooooohhhh that's nice.

  8. I'm sure that I have been here before!

  9. It is your mind taking your past memories and putting them together so it seems like you have already been through the situation. So basically yes it is your mind playing tricks on you.

  10. I get it all the time from dreams. It's probably a form of premonition, but it's too mind boggling to work out, so let's just say it's strange :P

  11. When I have deja vu it's a simple partial seizure originating in the left temporal lobe of my brain. I also have jamais vu at times, for the same reason.

Deja vu is the feeling that you've seen this all before.

  12. It's like that feeling u get when you have already felt , heard, seen something but you have no way of this ever happening to you before.

  13. Not the future,More like going somewhere you have never been to and knowing your way round,As though you have been there before.

                    Hope that helped.

  14. it is a feeling where you have been or heard something before i.e been in the same situation before.

that link should give you more information, hope I this helped a bit

  15. It's actually temporal lobe confusion. Where the brain confuses the present with the past. At one time it was believed to be optical pathway delay where one eye took longer to transmit an image than the other and therefore confusing the brain. However, since a blind man has come forward and reported experiencing deja vu this has now been refuted.

  16. It's french for 'already seen'

  17. literally translated from French it means "already seen"

it's the strange sensation that you've already experienced what you're currently experiencing (like maybe in a dream or in another life, etc.)

  18. the voice of semi reason you are a legend i knew someone would say that high fives all around

  19. Deja Vu is a sense that you have already experienced something that you are experiencing now.

For instance you meet someone that you think you met before and that it was the very same experience you are feeling now, the place is familiar, the surrondings, everything is as if it has happened before.

It may feel as if you dreamed the moment you are presently feeling.

It may look so very familiar yet you know ou have never been in that place before.

Deja vu is a strange feeling that you cannot explain its familiarity....as if you have done it exactly the same before the time you are in.

  20. I am sure I just answered that question.

  21. Deja Vu is to get the feeling that you have already expierienced something, when in reality you have never expierienced it.
